PS.Looking forward to seeing some of you next week👍
(And I'm curious to see if I can find something in Munich that plays on a par with my Composer)

An incredible listen last night with the Composer. Such a natural and lively sound. Beautiful.

Qobuz 24/96 stream on DX320 AMP12EXN LO mid gain filter 2 -> iFi 4.4mm to twin XLR3 IC -> Flux FA-10 Limited at low gain, 60% volume

Have a go at it, at least for the sonic treat :kissing_smiling_eyes:

@FritzS

Everything at the right time from my side...and that time is certainly not now in Munich 😎

PS.Although I'm really enjoying my Composer at lower volume on the way to Germany in the Business Class right now 😉

Please don't forget to stop by Chord Electronics stand and see if they are going to release a high end dongle usb amplifier, that will be very suitable for the composer, and very portable combination, I would like to think. Thanks
You should definitely test the Questyle CMA18P!

Look here:

And here:

It’s one of the best - if not the best - out now and pairs wonderfully with the Composer!

I will give it a try at CanJam London this July. But now I prefer dongles without battery and as portable as possible.
I tried the Composer with my W4 single ended only 110 mW@32 ohm and the volume was needed 60-70 out of 100.The sound was detailed, punchy with a black background, deep bass was needed and very good instrument separation. Looking forward to try in balanced mode as this dongle is quite capable with easy to drive full size open back headphones.

I have been super happy with the CMA M15 dongle, so much so that I am interested in trying the CMA 18p
Soundwise the CMA 18 is very nice. For me it’s too large though. But for stationary use that would not be a problem of course

DAC and headphone amplifier only.
No memory for music?
I would only like something with at least 500GB SSD storage.
