There are no other options due to the psu size constraints. CFA-e it is then, congratulations on being the first and be sure to tell us how you like it.
At Spritzer’s advice I first got an SRM717 as a recommendation as I was not ready to go with any smaller custom amps. I found it did help my
SR-007mk1 show off the phone’s capabilities. Eventually I ended up with the Aeras by Eksonics. Chassis size is shoebox size which was one of Kerry’s design goals. As one of the top custom builders he is one of the go to builders for a T2 build that uses a slightly smaller chassis since 2015. The Aeras definitely has some T2 DNA in its design.
Excellent solution but possibly jumped out of your price range.

Maybe Birgir has some other options coming up at a friendlier price point.

I really enjoy my 007mk1 like never before.

Good luck, don’t give up the quest.

Forgot about this one.
Assuming you have the fund this is also a good move for small space. BHSE tier

@Chefguru you mentioned other builders making Carbons. I might rethink the size issue so it would be great to find a few of these builders and see what they have available. Could you (or anyone) supply some names / links? Many thanks.
@soren_brix, @spritzer, @Dukei, @headinclouds (not sure is he is still actively build but has made some beautiful looking amps)

I've reached out to @headinclouds - as we're both in the UK that would be a great option for me.
Would be very surprised if headinclouds is back in business, but his amps are absolutely stunning, and a he's also a very friendly, thoughtful person.

@Dukei is in Europe and building carbons at the price point stated earlier. He did a fantastic job with my amp.
@soren_brix is also in Europe and has a great reputation.

Also, while the Eksonic is very beautiful and a great size, the feedback is that it's about on par with the BHSE. I've found for the 007 that the kgssHV is not that far off the BHSE, so the CFA-E would still not be a bad selection give the 50% price point. That said... a carbon will be better 🙃
